Sewickley Owners making a fashion statement

Here is a picture of the F-Bomb's co-owner John Homick and Eric Sivertsen playing in a charity basketball game last week in Boston.. this was last week people, and they still rock the short-shorts!

The big question is how healthy will the F-Bombs at the RB position for their game with the Maulers. Larry Johnson will not play due to his off the field activities... something the Maulers warned about after trading LJ away last season(Who has been right about that one?).. and Stephen Jackson was unable to give it a go last week and is listed as Questionable for this week's game. The issue really caused a bind with Sewickley last week and they only put up 35 points.. the 5th worst is FAA history.

The Maulers will be at full strength this weekend with all RB's and WR's at their disposal for the first time in a month. The Maulers weathered this storm and stormed themselves to first place in the division.. now they look forward to locking up a playoff spot..

IMPERSONATOR!

All fantasy football owners.. be on the lookout for this gentleman. He is impersonating a .500 fantasy football team. He may try and position himself as someone deserving of that record, but he is not who he seems! The Imperial Maulers will take pride this weekend exposing this fraud for exactly who he is.. just another Central Division pretender!

No Boldin, No Problem. Jackers get Jacked Up!

The Imperial Maulers went into the Week 5 contest against the Jersey Jackers with serious concerns. First, the Jackers stable of RB's Marion Barber and Adrian Peterson, had very good matchups against poor run defenses.. Secondly, the Maulers were not at 100% due to bye week and injury. Thomas Jones was off this week, and the number one WR in fantasy football, Anquan Boldin, had sinus surgery to fix his face after that horrific hit he took to end week 4.

The Maulers didn't throw a pity party, they acted. First they got Bobby Engram off waivers to help provide offense in lieu of Boldin's absence. Second they picked up WR Lance Moore, who is presently number one on the depth chart in New Orleans. Nailing both of these guys actually opened up the possibility of going 3-Wide this week..replacing the void that Jones gave them and also replacing Boldin's spot in the lineup. The end result? Engram chipped in nicely with a 6 point effort and Moore added 3 to help a blowout of the first place and previously undefeated Jackers.

Ben Roethlisberger stepped up and proved why he is the Maulers MVP with a gritty performance vs. Jacksonville. 3OO+ yds, 3 TD's and 27 fantasy points, proving once again why he is the key member of the Maulers machine. Greg Jennings also played like the best #2 WR that he is in the FAA with 14 points. In what was surely the biggest surprise, the D/ST of the Carolina Panthers shut out the Chiefs and scored 20+ points..so everyone stepped up their game in Anquan's absence.

Next week the Maulers finish the first cycle of division games by facing the hot Pittsburgh Ballers, who ride a 2 game winning streak themselves and just came off of a ass-whooping of the defending champion Norfolk Shipmen. Early call for the FAA game of the week, and it should be a great contest.

Maulers look to knock Jackers from the unbeaten ranks

The Imperial Maulers fight this weekend to maintain a close race in the FAA East Division when they travel to Jersey and take on the undefeated, first place, Jackers.

"Jersey has always been a special rivalry, but it will be hard to win the East Division if we don't win this weekend" said owner Steve Wagner. A loss would put Jersey 3 games ahead and keep Imperial's own destiny out of their hands and shooting for a wild card spot.

Imperial would also like to apologize for "swift boating" Norfolk last weekend and beating the crap out of them by nearly a "Raud" style margin. We promise to only beat them by 20-30 points next time.
