Norfolk Shipmen Owner- don't quit your day job

Shipmen owner Dwayne Kirkland recently stated that RB LenDale White "isn't worth keeping".

In 2007 LenDale White had more carries, more yards, and more touchdowns than the Shipmen's number one running back- Frank Gore.

The Maulers will gladly drop LenDale White into the free agent pool for the upcoming draft if Norfolk will drop Frank Gore since White supposedly, "isn't worth keeping".

Lets be honest- the Shipmen have been, and will always be a one trick pony:

Steubenville/Mt. Lebanon ridiculously equates their "success" to the Maulers

Today owner Bob Drummond of the lowly Steubenville/Mt. Lebo franchise ridiculously tried to compare his stinker of a FAA franchise with the proud tradition of the Imperial Maulers.

A couple important details that he failed to disclose.

• Steub/Mt. Lebo has NEVER made the Moyer Cup Playoffs
• Steub/Mt. Lebo has NEVER won the Central Divsion.. The Central for god's sake!
• Steub/Mt. Lebo has NEVER had a winning season in the nine year existence of our proud league..

Let it be known that we scoff at this attempt at equation- it's a losing franchises only argument and its a grasp at straws at best.

Maulers excited about Favre to the Jets

I've barely heard any stories about the Brett Favre situation.. so let me give my take on his trade to the Jets:

We like it.

This improves the Jets offense, and therefore improves Thomas Jones' fantasy value. We expected Thomas Jones to have a big year anyway behind an improved offensive line and being the sole running back- but with Favre's arrival this makes opposing defenses scheme to stop the hall of fame QB, and Jones should take advantage of that.
